Alumnus Calvin Sanford: From overcoming challenges to CEO success
Calvin Sanford is this month's student spotlight. Sanford, a former Southwest Tennessee
Community College student and CEO of marketing company Marketality, is a 2023 Alumni
of the Year award recipient. During his time at Southwest, Sanford was a member of
Project MOST, an organization that provides helpful resources, scholarships, and support
to students while they are completing their academic studies. Sanford shares the impact
Southwest had on his life academically, personally and professionally. To hear more

Southwest to honor Class of 2024 at May 8 Commencement
The big day is almost here! Southwest's Commencement will take place May 8, at the
Landers Center, 4560 Venture Dr., in Southaven, Mississippi. The ceremony starts at
7:00 p.m. (CST). Students should continue to check their emails for any updates. For
reminders about arrival and protocols, visit
