Spotlight: ARACIS – MAB Cooperation

MAB and ARACIS reach cooperation agreement.

 

On 15 December 2021, the Presidents of the Hungarian Accreditation Agency (MAB) and the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two organizations.

The agreement will promote quality higher education in Romania and Hungary and further develop the existing cooperative relations between the two quality assurance agencies. In the future, MAB and ARACIS will participate in joint projects, organize professional exchange programs, publish in each other’s publications and support each other’s work through the regular exchange of experience.

The Hungarian Accreditation Committee is a national-level, independent body of experts tasked with the external evaluation of the quality of educational and related research activities and the internal quality assurance systems of higher education institutions in Hungary. ARACIS was established in 2005 and is an autonomous public institution, of national interest, whose main mission is the external evaluation of the Romanian higher education’s quality, at the level of study programs, as well as from the institutional point of view.
