Agency of Accreditation and Quality Assurance

The Swiss Agency for Accreditation and Quality Assurance (AAQ) safeguards and promotes the quality of teaching and research at universities in Switzerland. It is independent, employs internationally recognized methods, and draws on the knowledge and experience of renowned experts. The AAQ develops guidelines and quality standards, conducts accreditation and evaluation procedures, and is active internationally. Programme accreditation procedures assess Bachelor and Master degree courses and continuing education programs and are voluntary in Switzerland.  AAQ also can award the EUR-ACE label to accredited engineering degree programs.
