According to their website, "Accreditation judgements play a critical role in assuring the quality and integrity of engineering education, but how are those judgements formed, and who ultimately makes the decision? This webinar provides a clear and practical overview of how accreditation outcomes are developed, from the evaluation of evidence by accreditation panels through to final decision‑making by the Accreditation Board. The session explains how panel findings and recommendations are considered, how professional judgement is applied at different stages of the process, and how consistency and independence are maintained across accreditation decisions. Designed for education providers, current and prospective accreditation discipline experts, and panel chairs, this webinar demystifies the end‑to‑end judgement process and clarifies the distinct roles of evaluation panels, the Accreditation Centre, and the Accreditation Board in reaching accreditation outcomes."
