Spotlight: Online Accredited Engineering Programs in Australia

More and more engineering programs are being offered online, but Australia's Charles Darwin University (CDU) has become Australia’s first university to offer 100 per cent online engineering courses that are fully accredited by Engineers Australia.

The university makes use of take-home kits, remotely operated lab machinery, and virtual collaboration, to support students as they complete all practical coursework requirements remotely. CDU students can specialize in Civil and Structural Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Engineers Australia maintains the largest register for the engineering profession in Australia, with more than 26,000 engineers, and accredits Australian engineering programs to international benchmarks including the Sydney, Dublin and Washington Accords.
