The Hungarian Accreditation Committee is a national-level, independent body of experts tasked with the external evaluation of the quality of educational and related research activities and the internal quality assurance (QA) systems of higher education institutions in Hungary. The scope of work includes initial accreditation of bachelor and master programmes. The HAC may also evaluate running Bachelor and Master programmes if requested by an institution or the ministry.

ASIIN is a German accreditation agency specialised in accrediting degree programs from the fields of engineering, informatics/computer science, the natural sciences and mathematics at bachelor, Maser and PhD levels. Within an ASIIN programme accreditation procedure, it is possible to acquire specific quality seals (labels) for certain subjects in addition to the ASIIN seal. Currently, the EUR-ACE label for engineering and the Euro-Inf label for computer science and business informatics may be applied for with ASIIN program accreditation.

The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India was initially established by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) in 1987, for periodic evaluations of technical institutions and programs. NBA has a process, parameters and criteria which are in line with the best international practices and oriented to assess the outcomes of the program. NBA has an outcome-based process of accreditation and the process is voluntary, and is fee based. NBA has been a full signatory member of the Washington Accord since 2014.

In Iraq, engineering programs are accredited by the Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education (ICAEE) founded in 2015, as a subsidiary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Engineers Ireland undertakes accreditation visits to universities and institutes of technology to ensure engineering and engineering technology programmes meet international standards. Engineers Ireland focuses on programmes designed to meet the education standard required to achieve the professional titles of Chartered Engineer, Associate Engineer and Engineering Technician. Israel

The Council for Higher Education (CHE) is the official authority for higher education in Israel and determines policy for the higher education system. Accredited programs in Israel are divided into two main categories: A. Universities; and B. Other Institutions of Higher Education. The main powers of the CHE include authorizing a recognized institution to award an academic degree. Decisions can be awarded as permanent certification, or temporary certification for a pre-determined period of time, or alternatively non-renewal of certification.

Italy

The Agenzia QUACING is the recognized accrediting body in Italy and was founded in 2010. Their accreditation criteria is based on the EUR-ACE® label model. QUACING is a Full Member of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) and in 2012 announced their first accredited programs, which were also granted the EUR-ACE® label. With respect to certification, accreditation also certifies that the expected learning outcomes at the end of the training process are consistent with the learning outcomes established in the EUR-ACE® Framework Standards.  QUACING also currently
